Camp Unleashed – Eat! Sniff! Play!

Sep. 30th 2010 9:12 PM

Take your dog on a 4-day weekend retreat to the beautiful relaxing countryside and enjoy the company of other dogs and dog lovers. Immerse your dog in nature, celebrate the full free expression of dogness and see the world through your dog’s eyes.

I recently did in-person consultations for the campers and their dogs at the Asheville, NC event. It was great fun and I will be returning in May 2011.

Camp Unleashed offers agility, dock diving, canine massage, scent games, painting with your pup, yoga with your dog, disc throwing, hikes, canoeing, animal communication and more.

The paper towels are fighting again.

This is one of those adorable cat photos that has been making the rounds via email. Made me laugh. So, I thought I’d share it with you in case you haven’t seen it. Even if you have, it’s still funny!

Don’t you just love cat humor?

FURminator – What A Great Brush!

Sep. 16th 2010 6:04 PM

I just discovered the best little brush to prevent shedding and wanted to share this with you. My tiger kitty, Merlin, has very silky, thick, short fur. Unfortunately, he always sheds, even in the winter. Well, I just tried a new brush and love it. It’s called the FURminator. After only a week of use, there is virtually no more shedding. Merlin’s coat is as luxurious as always but there isn’t an airy cloud of kitty fur wafting onto the floor or sofa when I pet him now.

Poem – Whiskered Angel Going Home

Sep. 1st 2010 2:05 PM

This is a sweet poem that a friend shared with me after the passing of my beautiful black panther kitty, Sig. I hope you enjoy it.

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then? asked God.
