Glorious Spring Is Here!

Animal Communication Newsletter - SpringDear Friends,

Happy Spring! I love this time of year; it's so full of possibility and growth. We're having an early season in western North Carolina and I've already begun to plant flowers. Ahhh! Nothing like the feel of soil in my hands. I love it! I hope you are enjoying this glorious Spring and that much beauty is blooming in all areas of your life.

Here's a great quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson: "What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us."

Wishing you joy and many blessings,

Rain

Welcoming Sashi into the Family

Animal Communication Newsletter - SashiI have some exciting news to share with you. In early March, I had the opportunity to welcome Sashi into my family. She's about 10 years old and so very sweet. Sashi spends much of her day in my office keeping me company and laying on my feet while I do consultations. She is quiet and gentle and I adore her. Sashi is enjoying a lot of loving attention and we're helping her get healthier. It is a joy to have her as an animal companion!

I'll be writing more about Sashi in upcoming blog posts including: adopting an older animal, caring for long haired cats, and helping an overweight animal companion become fit.

The Bruce J. Schell Memorial Scholarship for Cancer Survivors (dog or human)

Animal Communication Newsletter - Scholarship for Cancer SurvivorsWin a free retreat for you and your dog to Camp Unleashed Asheville, September 20-23, 2012. For details, click here.

For the past few years, I have had the privilege of being the staff animal coomunicator at the Camp Unleashed retreats near Asheville. Bruce was an extraordinary human being and a vital part of Camp Unleashed. I just loved him the moment I saw him. Bruce was a kind and compassionate person, soft spoken, but said a whole lot with his soulful eyes. He will be missed deeply.

Please feel free to pass on this scholarship information to anyone you know who may benefit from this generous opportunity.
